With a Pinterest-found inspiration image of baguette cut stones and gold bar details, Alexander and his partner approached us with a vision of a custom design crafted from modern materials. They wanted a ring that captured the look of a vintage heirloom piece.

The Design Process
Using the couple’s initial vision, Alexander’s personal design consultant created a design with all the key details: a 1.50 carat oval center and horizontal baguette accent stones. The gold bar accents were short, rounded, and set on a 1.5mm band to mimic the original reference image.
Alexander’s partner loved the look, but wanted to up the band width and vertical lines. We proposed a second iteration with a more elongated silhouette featuring an increased 3mm in a domed shape and square edges. When Alexander’s partner tried on her 3D print, it was nearly perfect—just a slight adjustment to a 2.5mm band width.

Into Production
After the couple’s approval, their custom ring entered the production stage. June’s goldsmith’s were hard at work crafting an exact replica of the digital renderings with their chosen premium materials: 14K yellow gold, a 1.52 lab created diamond center, and lab created diamond accent stones.
This ring is a true collector’s piece. Here’s the finished look:
