The Design Process
We started Ashten’s design with our One of a Kind Champagne Floral Cluster as inspiration. She loved the two tone diamonds, but wanted to see it with a moval cut, instead. “Moval” is a cross between a marquise and an oval: an elongated shape with soft edges. We created a mockup to bring her vision to life.
Ashten loved the look, but wanted to decrease the size of the halo to bring more emphasis to the main diamond. She also requested to see the ring paired with her existing wedding band, as she had plans to stack them together. After a few minor stone size adjustments, the ring was ready.
Into Production
Ashten and Cole reviewed the final design with June’s 3D rendering software. After their final approval, their ring entered the production stage. Our goldsmiths were hard at work crafting an exact replica of the digital renderings with their chosen premium materials: a 1.72 carat moval June Champagne diamond, 3mm Euro cut round white diamond accent stones, and 14K yellow and white gold.
