Petal-like facets, vintage feel, luminous sparkle—a rose cut diamond is for true romantics. This antique look is everything we want for an engagement ring, and more.
So, why not make it a “double”? Benson had dreams of a custom rose cut setting with extra glam. A double rose cut features a faceted domed base and top, resulting in 2x the signature sparkle.

The Design Process
Benson approached June with a few things in mind: a double rose cut diamond, elongated cushion, and half bezel setting. His personal design consultant started with a digital rendering of these combined details. The half bezel—or “pocket bezel”—was tapered slightly to compliment the stone’s natural shape.
Benson loved the design, but wanted to maximize the sparkle as much as possible. We decided to open up the underside of the setting to allow more light to filter through the stone. This final adjustment brought his vision to life.
Into Production
Benson reviewed the final version of the ring with June’s 3D rendering software. After his approval, the ring entered the production stage. Our goldsmiths were hard at work crafting an exact replica of the digital renderings with his chosen premium materials: a 1.19 carat double rose cut lab diamond and 18K yellow gold.
A stone with unforgettable sparkle. Here’s the finished look:
