Lillie and her partner approached June to try on her favorite collection ring—the Dahlia—in person. She wasn’t expecting to catch eyes for another rare setting: a 5.02 carat antique cut cushion solitaire from our One of a Kind Collection.

The Design Process
Lillie started her custom process with an in-person appointment at our flagship studio in Salt Lake City. With our Dahlia ring already in mind, she curiously admired a rare antique cut cushion setting from our One of a Kind Collection and fell in love with its unique details: a tapered ridged band and compass tab prongs.
Sweet serendipity. At Lillie’s request, her personal design consultant created a hybrid of Dahlia and the One of a Kind setting. After testing multiple carat sizes on hand, Lillie decided on a 3.00 carat oval cut diamond for her ring’s center. We finalized the design in June 3D rendering software and presented photo and video content of the ring from every angle.
Into Production
After Lillie’s final approval, her custom ring entered the production stage. June’s goldsmith’s were hard at work crafting an exact replica of the digital renderings with her chosen premium materials: 14K yellow gold, a 3.01 carat oval diamond, and two clusters of round accent stones.
