Geometric patterns, colored gemstones, glitzy details—the 1920s are making waves in 2026. We’ve already dubbed this year an “Art Deco Renaissance”, and this custom ring is exactly that.
Mckennah entered the studio with plans to go retro. She envisioned an engagement ring with the Art Deco movement’s iconic geometry, symmetry, and architectural lines (with five diamonds, for 5x the sparkle).

The Design Process
Mckennah wanted her ring to have a signature 1920s feel, without being too ornate. Her personal design consultant suggested combining an emerald cut center with 4 straight baguette accent stones to create a uniform step cut look. We created an initial mockup and refined the stone proportions together so their alignment felt clean and intentional.
Now onto the setting. Mckennah wanted her stones to be secured in gold without looking overpowered. To compliment her diamond’s facet lines, we added a vertical bar setting between each stone. The line widths were adjusted until Mckennah found her perfect balance of minimalism and durability.
Into Production
Mckennah reviewed the final design with June’s 3D rendering software. After her approval, her ring entered the production stage. Our goldsmiths were hard at work crafting an exact replica of the digital renderings with their chosen premium materials: a 2.51 carat elongated emerald cut diamond, 4 straight baguette diamond side stones, and 14K yellow gold.
