After finding inspiration in the June One of a Kind Collection, Cole inquired about a custom ring for his partner with a truly unforgettable look. One word: moval—a unique cross between an oval and marquise cut diamond.

The Design Process
Cole started his custom process after noting his partner’s love for our One of a Kind Rose Cut Moval ring. With a specific type of stone mind, his personal design consultant started the search for the perfect gem: moval shape, rose cut, with a subtle pink champagne color. Rose cut stones are an antique style known for their vintage, romantic look.
After securing the perfect stone, Cole’s consultant presented two setting styles to display his memorable gem: bezel, or double-claw prong. We reviewed both through virtual consultation and moved forward with the prong style. Cole’s last request: connecting the split shank band to the setting for a lower profile look.

Into Production
After Cole & his partner’s final approval, his custom ring entered the production stage. June’s goldsmith’s were hard at work crafting an exact replica of the digital renderings with her chosen premium materials: 14K yellow gold with a matte finish, and a 1.04 carat natural champagne rose cut moval diamond.
